PhD Day (2027)

Welcome to the PhD Day for the Doctoral School in Social Science and Humanities. The day is focused on networking and science communication as a follow up on the workshop with videnskab.dk (part A). You can take part in this even though you did not take part in the workshop. 

Take the opportunity to hone your science communication skills and present your research here in the form of a 3-5 minute pitch. You will receive feedback from professionals from AAU Communication and researchers from the Faculty.

Program

12:00 – 12:30 Networking and lunch sandwiches

12:30 – 12:40 Welcome and introduction to the day by the Head of the Doctoral School

12:40 – 13:15 What makes a good story? Presented by two SSH researchers experienced in media engagement

13:15 – 14:15 Pitch session: 3–5 minute pitches with brief feedback from AAU Communication (6 pitches in total)

14:15 – 14:30 Break

14:30 – 15:30 Pitch session: 3–5 minute pitches with brief feedback from AAU Communication (6 pitches in total)

15:30 – 16:00 Feedback on the day's pitches and future communication support, provided by AAU Communication and the two SSH researchers

16:00 – 16:30 Refreshments and networking
