Learn to pitch your research in a 2 hour workshop
Communicating clearly increases your impact. In this workshop, we will focus on how you can pitch your research to non-peers. How do you structure a pitch? How do you find your take-home-message? How do you know what’s most interesting for your target audience? Those are some of the questions, we focus on.
The workshop consists of a mix between the instructor teaching and exercises with feedback from your peers. The workshop entails some preparation at home prior to the workshop (preparing the first draft of your pitch), allowing us to focus on sharpening your pitch based on feedback during the workshop. We’ll provide you with material to help you write the first draft.
The workshop is run by Anders Høeg Lammers, the researchers' editor at Videnskab.dk, Denmark’s leading popular science news outlet.
The format will be hybrid but we encourage you to take part in person if possible due to the interactive nature of the workshop.
The link to the meeting will be distributed after deadline
