Introduction:

Description: SUND PhD Day 2026

How does Open Science shape your PhD journey?

We will  explore how principles of openness, transparency, and reproducibility influence research practices, collaboration, and career development within a PhD context.

Join us to gain insights into practical aspects of Open Science, including data sharing, publishing strategies, and responsible research conduct—while reflecting on how these practices can strengthen the quality and impact of your work.

As always we will have two rounds of poster presentations where you can learn about the research carried out by your PhD colleagues across the faculty.

Remember that active participation (presenting a poster this year) is a mandatory element that you must complete at least once during your PhD.

More information and program to follow.

In parallel with the PhD Day, the Doctoral School in Medicine, Biomedical Science and Technology is pleased to announce that we have prepared a workshop between 9 and 12 am focusing on pitch presentation. The workshop will be conducted by Lise Brix | Videnskab.dk. She will teach the participants how to prepare a pitch ensuring that the audience relates to your PhD project. Note the limited number of seats, so make sure to register very soon (first come first serve).
