Welcome to Applying the Danish Code of Conduct - C (2025)
Description: This course examines the Danish Code of Conduct for Research Integrity that guides research practices of scientists, researchers and their collaborators. The course will briefly introduce the principles of research integrity, dwell on the basic standards for conducting responsible research - from the planning phase to the dissemination of results, and also shortly introduce the current administration for misconducts. The course is based on the Danish Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (Ministry of Higher Education and Science, 2014), that was accepted by all Danish Universities. The course will include cases and supplementary material to illustrate research integrity through examples participants can work with and think about.
Before the course date, it is expected that the online lectures have been gone though as preparation for the course. The actual date of the course will consist of mostly group-based workshops, including discussions pertaining to the participants' own challenges. It is an advantage than in the preparation to also look at the action point plan that is to be submitted after the course.
Participants will receive the detailed program, materials, and instructions for preparation in due time of the course. Around 20 hours of work prior to and after the course shall be expected.

Important information concerning PhD courses: We have over some time experienced problems with no-show for both project and general courses. It has now reached a point where we are forced to take action. Therefore, the Doctoral School has decided to introduce a no-show fee of DKK 3.000 for each course where the student does not show up. Cancellations are accepted no later than 2 weeks before start of the course. Registered illness is of course an acceptable reason for not showing up on those days. Furthermore, all courses open for registration approximately four months before start. This can hopefully also provide new students a chance to register for courses during the year. We look forward to your registrations.
