In-course assignment

Design a theory-oriented data collection and analysis exercise for (part of) your own PhD project. You will describe an overall research strategy and work in the interpretive tradition. Give enough information about your research objectives and situation so that the reader can understand the context. You need to specify (amongst other things):

• the tradition you are working in
• the research approach
• the data collection strategy
• data analysis strategy
• what kind of theory you will build and how you will build it

You aim at a top journal and write an article: your assignment is the methodology section draft for that article.

Specify the journal you are targeting and write in the appropriate style. Be sure to use an appropriate referencing standard, and use the course reading list (methodological guidance) as the authorities for your arguments.
