Introduction: Description: The role of metric theory as an alternative to the bisimulation-centered research has emerged lately in the field of Markov processes and has imposed itself as a fruitful research direction. Being the interest in this topic at AAU, we propose to organize this study group that has as the main goal gathering together the researchers and the PhD students interested in this topic. The intention is to study together various topics related to this subject from topological and measure theoretical foundations to computational aspects, learning algorithms and concrete applications.
