Description:
This course is a practical ‘hands on’ course, which will teach you how to be a good project time planner.
The lecturer will introduce and illustrate an easy and down to earth method on how to plan your time. During the course you will try it out on your own.
The course will discuss project planning on a larger scale - planning for the whole PhD period - as well as project planning on a more daily basis.
The practical outcome of the course is a detailed time schedule for the next 1-2 month of your study. For those of you, who find it usable, there will be a possibility for an individual follow up session after a month. The aim of this individual session is to discuss your individual experiences as a project planner.

Summing up - the objectives:
To support the PhD student in developing and implementing a project plan for the PhD period as such

To give the PhD student hands on knowledge on how to be a good project planner on a daily basis

Bring your 2 month plan or a draft of it for the course.

Important information concerning PhD courses

We have over some time experienced problems with no-show for both project and general courses. It has now reached a point where we are forced to take action. Therefore, the Doctoral School has decided to introduce a no-show fee of DKK 5,000 for each course where the student does not show up. Cancellations are accepted no later than 2 weeks before start of the course. Registered illness is of course an acceptable reason for not showing up on those days. Furthermore, all courses open for registration approximately three months before start. This can hopefully also provide new students a chance to register for courses during the year. We look forward to your registrations.
