Description:
This course will provide the participants with hands-on experience in creating and handling data from questionnaires, registers and other sources, and to document the data management and analyses in accordance with the UVVU recommendations.
The course provides an overview of the audit trail using EpiData or an equivalent tool to create and input datasets ready for statistical analyses with the accompanying documentation including labelling, double entry, error corrections and data modification.
Regardless of the statistical software used (for instance SPSS, STATA, SAS or R), participants will learn how to document the analyses in command files. Participants will be expected to work on data documentation of own or provided data between the two classes.
The possibilities to deposit datasets with personal identification in DDA and the conditions for this will be covered.
